Its patented approach feeds the measured battery voltage directly into a digital battery model, which it says gives higher diagnostic accuracy at lower server cost. It estimates state of charge, including for LFP cells and with inaccurate current sensing, and state of health, covering capacity fade, rising internal resistance, usable energy and changes in the open-circuit voltage curve, down to single-cell level in large packs. It also quantifies cell and module imbalance. AccuVice is a spin-off of Hochschule Offenburg, building on more than 15 years of battery modelling research.
