It is developing the AE200 piloted eVTOL for low-altitude passenger travel within city clusters, combining vertical take-off, new-energy power and intelligent flight. It says it was the first piloted passenger eVTOL company in China to have its airworthiness certification accepted by the civil aviation authority, and its AE200 demonstrator has completed full tilt-transition flight. It has research, test-flight, production and training sites, and lists markets in Chengdu, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Boston, Frankfurt and Dubai.

The 2025 Battery Report lists AeroFugia among major battery-electrified aviation players in Asia-Pacific (eVTOL).
