ARLANXEO markets Therban® HNBR as its flagship hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber, used in battery system sealing, stator, and component applications for high heat and fluid resistance. Its EVM Rubber (Levapren®) is used for cable sheaths and battery-management-system related automotive applications. A Changzhou Therban HNBR plant, commissioned in October 2025 with 5,000 tons per year capacity, is designed to support ~12.5 million EV batteries annually and reduces carbon emissions by around 80% compared with traditional processes, with ARLANXEO providing technical services and testing at Regional Technology Centers.
