BlueOvalSK was a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and SK On formed to manufacture advanced EV batteries, including high-nickel NCM pouch cells for Ford/Lincoln EVs. The partnership dissolved by early 2026, with Ford retaining Kentucky plants and SK On taking the Tennessee facility, while BOSK provided development, manufacturing, and supply of battery cells and modules for EVs.
