Cobalt Blue Holdings
About
Cobalt Blue Holdings is an Australian mining and minerals processing company focused on cobalt and other critical minerals.
Its lead project is the Kwinana Cobalt Refinery in Western Australia, which it is advancing toward a final investment decision to produce battery-grade cobalt sulphate and cobalt metal. It also holds the Broken Hill Cobalt Project, which it calls Australia's largest undeveloped primary cobalt resource, the Halls Creek Project, Project Infinity and a technology centre at Broken Hill, and it has piloted a patented mid-stream process for recovering cobalt from varied feedstocks. It is listed on the ASX.
The 2025 Battery Report notes Cobalt Blue's 2025 deal with Glencore for cobalt hydroxide covering half of Kwinana's feed, the refinery's works approval, and $5.3M in new funding.
