About
EcoPro CAM Canada LP is a joint venture between EcoPro BM, SK On, and Ford that is building a $1.2 billion CAD CAM production facility in Bécancour, Quebec to manufacture high-nickel Nickel Cobalt Manganese (NCM) cathode active materials for EV batteries. The plant aims to produce about 45,000–49,604 tons of CAM annually and to supply batteries for Ford's North American EV production, with an emphasis on R&D to improve battery safety and performance.
