EnergyVille

More than 700 of their researchers work there on technologies for an energy system built on electrification. Its research lines cover battery storage, solar energy, power electronics, power-to-molecules, buildings and districts, electrical networks, thermal systems, and energy strategies and markets, backed by test infrastructure and labs in Genk. Battery work spans new materials, new cell architectures, exploratory cell and battery concepts, battery management systems and integration support, with projects such as INTELLIBAT on solid-state batteries and products such as the BattSense smart cell.

The 2025 Battery Report lists EnergyVille among pilot lines and R&D services in Belgium.
