About
EVident Battery makes vibration sensors and AI software that diagnose electric vehicle battery packs without taking them apart.
A scan picks up vibration signatures, and a deep-learning model links them to mechanical and integration faults such as loose fasteners, structural damage, enclosure scratches, misalignments and seal breaches, which a BMS does not detect. It says an inspection takes two minutes and costs $40, giving manufacturers, dealers, insurers and fleets a battery health report. Products are the EVB Vibration Sensor, EVB Monitor Sensor and EVB Vibration Inspection. Founder Jinqiang Ning, who has a PhD from Georgia Tech, led battery reliability work at Tesla and Apple.
The 2025 Battery Report lists EVident Battery under battery intelligence and field analytics.
