About
Glimpse makes browser-based software for viewing and analyzing industrial CT scans, and runs a CT scanning service for battery cells and other hardware.
Its Glimpse Portal loads scans of up to 100 GB in a web browser and accepts data from any CT scanner, so whole teams can measure, annotate and share them. Through Scan on Demand, customers mail in parts and get high-resolution scans back in days. For cells, it checks for defects such as anode overhang, can denting and tab weld failures.
Glimpse is based in Somerville, Massachusetts. Its three founders spent a combined 30 years in lithium-ion batteries at Tesla, Toyota and battery startups and started the company in 2023.
