Hyundai-LGES JV is a 50/50 battery cell manufacturing joint venture in Georgia between Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solution that will produce 30 GWh/year of lithium-ion cells for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis EVs via HL-GA Battery Company in Savannah. Hyundai Mobis will assemble these cells into battery packs for Hyundai vehicles, and the JV is linked to a Huayou recycling partnership in Indonesia as part of its broader battery ecosystem.
