LS MnM
About
LS MnM is a South Korean nonferrous metals and materials company in the LS Group, built on its Onsan copper smelter in Ulsan.
Its name stands for Metals and Materials: alongside refined copper, precious and rare metals, it is moving into materials for EV batteries and semiconductors. On battery materials, the company says it has been pursuing the business since March 2023, drawing on its global raw-material sourcing and its pyro- and hydrometallurgical refining technology, with a focus on nickel sulfate and lithium-ion battery recycling. It runs the Onsan smelter as a digital smart factory.
The 2025 Battery Report shows LS MnM in the materials-processing stage (Lithium Chemical) of its map of emerging players valued above $30 million.
