About
Sakti3 was a University of Michigan spin-out that developed solid-state lithium-ion battery technology intended to deliver higher energy density, improved safety, and lower costs than traditional liquid-electrolyte batteries. The technology was aimed at applications in electric vehicles and consumer devices, and Sakti3 was acquired by Dyson in 2015 to advance battery technology for Dyson products. If needed, further results can corroborate details on manufacturing methods (thin-film deposition) and post-acquisition status.
