Its VERA product creates digital product passports, including battery passports for manufacturers, importers and distributors preparing for the EU Battery Regulation, which requires passports for industrial and electric vehicle batteries from February 18, 2027. Its other products are CARO, which verifies trading partners for US Drug Supply Chain Security Act compliance, and EIDA, an EU business wallet built for eIDAS 2.0.

Spherity GmbH was founded in 2017 and is registered in Dortmund, Germany, with a fully remote team. The company says the European Commission selected it as an implementation partner for the European Digital Identity Wallet.
