Tyba is a San Francisco software company whose platform helps developers, owners and operators model, bid and operate energy storage and renewable projects.

Developers use it to simulate thousands of project configurations and estimate returns; operators use AI price forecasts with confidence intervals for day-ahead and real-time markets to plan bids and run optimised dispatch, with real-time optimisation for live assets. The company says it has more than 6 GWh of assets under management and serves independent power producers, utilities and financial institutions. It was founded by former energy project developers, and Michael Baker is co-founder and CEO.

The 2025 Battery Report lists Tyba among North American optimizers and under optimization and benchmarking in its BESS tech stack.
