About
Avrion Battery Labs, founded in 2013 in Nova Scotia, Canada, by Dr. Chris Burns, makes Ultra-High Precision Coulometry (UHPC) battery testing systems, thermal chambers and cell fixtures.
It also offers R&D services in cell design, prototyping, materials characterization and performance testing, building coin, pouch, 18650 and 21700 cells. The UHPC systems grew out of Burns's graduate work with Dr. Jeff Dahn at Dalhousie University on faster ways to measure lithium-ion battery lifespan.
