BasiGo is named the Authorized CATL Battery Service Agent for Sub-Saharan Africa, enabling its technical teams to service and repair CATL battery technology across Africa, with service teams in Kenya and other locations. It also promotes a Pay-As-You-Drive (PAYD) battery leasing model where bus owners lease the CATL-backed battery per kilometer, with charging and maintenance included. The KL-9 electric bus uses CATL battery technology and is backed by a 10-year/1,000,000 km CATL warranty plus BasiGo’s trusted after-sales service.
