Fourth Power is developing a utility-scale, long duration thermal energy storage technology to provide reliable power at the lowest cost. Our power-dense system stores excess energy as heat in low-cost carbon blocks for 5-100 hours and converts it back to electricity on demand using thermophotovoltaics.
