About

ISRA VISION makes machine vision and surface inspection systems that detect defects early in production, including for battery cells.

It forms the core of the Atlas Copco Group's Machine Vision Solutions division. Its systems are used in automotive, battery, glass, metals, nonwovens, paper, plastic film, print, semiconductor and solar manufacturing. For battery makers it offers inline inspection of separator film and electrode film, end-of-line inspection of pouch, cylindrical and prismatic cells, and production analytics that link inspection data to process decisions.

The 2025 Battery Report lists ISRA Vision under cell quality and inspection.
