Miami University (Ohio) provides on-campus battery recycling for its community, including battery recycling bins in residence hall lobbies and E-scrap handling coordinated by the Tech Store. Student interns in the Office of Sustainability, under the Physical Facilities Department (PFD), collect and sort batteries with pickups occurring about twice a year. These services describe disposal and recycling of batteries rather than any battery products or energy storage offerings.
