Its Molo graphite mine in Madagascar, which it describes as one of the largest and highest-quality graphite resources and the only one with SuperFlake graphite, is in production and ramping up Phase 1. NextSource is developing Battery Anode Facilities to make coated, spheronized and purified graphite for battery and automotive customers, starting with a plant in the UAE. It also holds the Green Giant vanadium project and sells flake graphite to thyssenkrupp for refractories.

The 2025 Battery Report notes its binding multi-year offtake agreement with Mitsubishi Chemical and lists it among emerging natural graphite producers outside China.
