Pivotal builds Helix, an all-electric, single-seat eVTOL aircraft for recreation, personal mobility, emergency response and defense.

Helix needs no runway, uses simplified flight controls, and is built on one aircraft platform for all three segments. Owners train with Pivotal before flying, and the company says its aircraft have made more than 10,000 flights from over 100 locations, with more than 50 Pivotal-certified pilots. Its earlier aircraft was the BlackFly.

The 2025 Battery Report lists Pivotal among major battery-electrified aviation players in the Americas, in its eVTOL group.
