Primix

For secondary batteries it offers the FILMIX disperser and the CDM continuous process, in which all electrode materials are premixed into a slurry and pumped through the FILMIX to complete dispersion without a solid kneading step, shortening production. It covers lithium-ion and all-solid-state batteries, and offers small FILMIX units of 10 to 90 cc and batch kneaders for lab work. The company began in 1927 as a chrome plating works, took the PRIMIX name in 2005 and moved its headquarters to Awaji Island in 2015.

The 2025 Battery Report lists Primix among Japanese battery equipment makers for the mixing step.
