Toyo Hitec

It handles the powders used in alkaline and manganese dry cells, nickel-hydrogen, lithium-ion and solid-state batteries, and is strongest in cathode, anode and electrolyte powders, including controlling foreign matter. Its equipment covers atmosphere control, conveying, weighing, mixing, pulverising and filling, and past deliveries include dry-cell and lithium-ion battery production equipment, electrolyte, cathode and anode material plants, and capacitor production equipment. Established in 1964, it has about 171 employees.

The 2025 Battery Report lists Toyo Hitec among Japanese battery equipment makers for the mixing step.
