Qinghai Salt Lake Industry

Its own English name is Qinghai Yanhu Industry. It is a core company of China Minmetals and is listed in Shenzhen. It reports potash capacity of 5 million tonnes a year and lithium carbonate capacity of 40,000 tonnes a year from brine, with a further 40,000-tonne lithium salt project under construction. It has about 6,000 employees and runs national and provincial research centres on salt lake resource use.

The 2025 Battery Report lists it among large-cap lithium miners and chemical producers.
