About
Pulead (Taifeng Pulead) is a Chinese maker of lithium-ion cathode materials and separators, based in Xining, Qinghai, that also develops salt lake lithium resources.
Its cathode products are LFP, LMFP, lithium cobalt oxide and ternary materials, and it makes separators for EV and large energy storage battery makers. It holds development rights to the Dongtai salt lake in Golmud, covering 314 square kilometres, producing lithium, potassium and boron salts. Among its firsts, it says it was early to supply high-energy-density lithium cobalt oxide for smartphones and to build a 10,000-tonne LFP line.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Pulead among large-cap cathode producers.
