Zoolnasm
About
Zoolnasm is a Chinese sodium-ion battery company, founded in 2021, that works across cathode materials, cells, packs and systems.
It pioneered the polyanion sodium iron sulfate (NFS) battery system and also develops NFPP. Its NFS cathode is made from industrial by-products, sodium sulfate and ferrous sulfate, in a single low-temperature sintering step below 400°C, which it says cuts key-process energy use by about 30% against LFP. Products target light EVs, energy storage, backup power and consumer electronics. Zoolnasm has close to 200 granted patents, and its sites include Zhenjiang, Taizhou, Yancheng and Meishan.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Zoolnasm among emerging sodium-ion cell makers and Asia-Pacific sodium-ion players.
