It works in three areas: energy storage systems, small electric vehicles, and batteries for smart products. Its storage products cover data centers, commercial and industrial sites, homes and portable power. It also makes cells and packs for drones and eVTOL aircraft using multi-tab winding, for power tools, vacuum cleaners and cleaning robots, for robots and logistics robots, and for e-motorcycles, e-bikes, three-wheelers and battery-swap fleets.

The 2025 Battery Report lists Ampace among large-cap energy storage companies and among high-performance cell suppliers.
