About
REPT Battero is a Chinese maker of lithium-ion batteries for energy storage and electric vehicles.
It was founded in 2017 as the first new-energy business of Tsingshan Industrial. It makes cells, packs and storage systems for grid, utility, commercial, UPS and home storage, batteries for battery-electric, plug-in and hybrid cars, and custom systems for buses, trucks, construction machinery, ships and aircraft. It has R&D centres in Shanghai, Wenzhou and Jiaxing, production in Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Liuzhou, Foshan and Chongqing, and is building its first overseas plant in Indonesia. It reports annual capacity above 90 GWh.
The 2025 Battery Report lists REPT Battero among large-cap cell makers and among LFP cell producers in China.
