Its batteries go into passenger cars, commercial vehicles from light vans to heavy trucks and buses, construction machinery, ships, electric aircraft, two-wheelers, forklifts, AGVs and robots, and it supplies integrated energy storage systems for generation, grid, commercial and home use. It has production bases in about ten Chinese provinces, including Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong and Sichuan, plus bases in Europe and Thailand. It has launched a phosphate-based cylindrical cell it describes as the highest in energy density of its kind.

The 2025 Battery Report lists CALB among large-cap cell makers, among LFP cell producers in China and EMEA, and among solid-state players in Asia-Pacific.
