About
BPI Battery (倍特力) is a Shenzhen maker of lithium-ion, nickel-metal hydride and nickel-zinc batteries, battery packs and energy storage products.
Its legal name is Shenzhen Better Power Battery Co., Ltd. Founded in 2002, it runs three subsidiaries for lithium batteries, nickel batteries and energy solutions, with a headquarters base and a pack and storage pilot plant in Shenzhen and an industrial park in Jiangxi. It has more than 1,000 employees and says its electrode lines produce over 1.5 million battery units a day. Products include NiMH cells from AAAA to F size, Li-polymer cells, LiFePO4 packs, 1.5 V lithium batteries with USB-C charging, and portable power stations, for uses from medical devices and robotics to security cameras.
The 2025 Battery Report lists BPI among Asia-Pacific zinc battery manufacturers.
