About
Melasta is a Shenzhen maker of rechargeable Li-ion, Li-polymer, LiFePO4 and nickel-zinc batteries, battery packs and energy storage systems.
Established in 2008 as a joint venture, it also supplies chargers, BMS and protection circuits, and inverters from 1 kW to 2.52 MW. Its cells include high-energy, high-power, fast-charge and custom-shaped designs. Melasta has more than 1,200 staff and three plants in Dongguan, Hunan and Sichuan, and sells into consumer and professional markets, including tools, IT devices, golf carts, solar and home storage.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Melasta among Asia-Pacific zinc battery manufacturers.
