Conrad Energy is a UK energy company that builds and operates flexible generation and battery storage and buys, sells and manages energy for businesses.
Its portfolio of gas, batteries, solar, wind and hydrogen covers 83 sites, operational or in construction, with a potential output of 983 MW, all optimised with its own iON+ software. In storage it has 148 MW of battery projects in operation or construction, aims for a 1 GW battery portfolio, and has framework agreements with Tesla and GE Renewable Energy. Proposed battery sites include Braydon, Burton Green, Cellarhead, Kintore, Moffat, Shareshill, Taunton and Thurloxton.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Conrad Energy among UK optimizers in its BESS tech stack.
