About
DA Technology is a South Korean maker of assembly and formation equipment for secondary batteries, founded in 2000.
It builds customised lines for pouch, cylindrical and prismatic cells: for pouch cells, notching, stacking, tab welding, pouch forming, sealing, electrolyte filling, degassing and grading; for cylindrical cells, winding, jelly-roll insertion, tab welding, X-ray, filling and IR/OCV testing; and for prismatic cells, notching, top-cap and seam welding, leak checks and filling. It also makes flat-panel display inspection and in-mould labelling equipment and is developing fuel-cell and xEV pack lines. Its head office, R&D centre and factory are in Hwaseong, and it has 91 employees.
The 2025 Battery Report lists DA Technology among South Korean battery equipment makers.
