About
EcoPro is the South Korean holding company of the EcoPro group, based in Ochang, Cheongju.
Its business areas are mining and recycling, secondary battery materials, environmental solutions, and industrial gas and logistics. Group companies include EcoPro BM (cathode materials, with a plant in Hungary), EcoPro Materials (precursors), EcoPro HN (environmental systems such as greenhouse gas abatement), EcoPro Innovation, EcoPro EM, EcoPro CnG and EcoPro AP. Recent group news covers solid-state battery materials work with Samsung SDI.
The 2025 Battery Report lists EcoPro among large-cap nickel and cobalt chemical and precursor producers, and notes that its cumulative NCA cathode sales passed 300 kt by mid-2025.
