Brunp
About
Brunp (Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology) is a Chinese battery recycler and battery materials maker, a subsidiary of CATL, headquartered in Foshan.
Founded in 2005, it works in three areas: recycling, resources and materials. It collects and sorts retired batteries for reuse or recycling, recovers metals and other materials from them, and makes precursors and cathode materials, including recycled and new LFP and low-cobalt NCM products. It also develops nickel, cobalt, lithium and phosphate resources, with sites in Ningde, Fujian, and in Indonesia, where it produces nickel iron and recycles batteries.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Brunp among large-cap precursor producers and recyclers.
