About
Kim Long Motor is a Vietnamese vehicle manufacturer based in Hue that builds and sells passenger and commercial vehicles and makes automotive parts.
It is the developer of the Kim Long Motor Hue automotive industrial park, planned at more than 600 hectares in its first phase, and aims for 80–90% local content in its vehicles. It also sells through its own showroom and service network. Its recent output includes GK48-EV fully electric vans, delivered in October 2026 to Viettel Post for logistics.
The 2025 Battery Report notes that LG Energy Solution will supply Kim Long Motor with NMC cylindrical battery cells for electric buses, with production scheduled for 2026.
