It also has joint ventures with Volkswagen and General Motors. In 2025 it reported wholesale sales of 4.507 million vehicles, of which 2.928 million were its own brands, 1.643 million were new energy vehicles and 1.071 million were sold overseas. It ranked 125th on the 2026 Fortune Global 500 with revenue of $91.3 billion.
The 2025 Battery Report lists SAIC Motor among large-cap vehicle makers and among solid-state players in Asia-Pacific, and notes the December 2025 launch of the MG4 with an LMO semi-solid-state battery.
