SAIC-GM (SAIC General Motors) is a Chinese carmaker that builds and sells Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles in China.
Its group includes manufacturing companies in Dongyue and Shenyang, the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, and sales and service companies for new energy vehicles in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. It runs its own charging stations and dealer areas for Buick and Cadillac electric models.
The 2025 Battery Report notes that in September 2025 SAIC-GM and CATL presented a 6C fast-charging LFP battery for the upgraded Ultium platform.
