Lincdyne
About
Lincdyne develops all-solid-state zinc-air batteries (ssZAB) and all-solid-state lithium metal batteries (ssLMB).
Both use its own materials: a copper phosphosulfide (CPS) cathode, which in the zinc-air cell acts as a bifunctional oxygen catalyst, and a solid electrolyte membrane made from chitosan and bacterial cellulose. The company reports a 1 Ah zinc-air pouch cell at 460 Wh/kg and cites 460 to 520 Wh/kg, charging within 15 minutes, 6,000 cycles and operation from -50 to 80 °C. Co-founder and CEO Jung-Ho Lee, a professor at Hanyang University ERICA, published the zinc-air pouch cell work in Nature Energy in 2020.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Lincdyne among Asia-Pacific metal-air battery players.
