Its systems cover dilute and dense pneumatic conveying, weighing and batching, pneumatic blending, and storage and unloading. Its equipment has been used in battery production since 2007, starting with its pneumatic blend cone, and it has engineered systems for handling cathode and anode powders and battery pack potting materials, including lithium hydroxide, beta spodumene and metal hydroxides, with attention to avoiding metal contamination. It runs an in-house test lab for proof of concept, has worked with clients since 1983, and is a subsidiary of KC Green Holdings.

The 2025 Battery Report lists Nol-Tec among U.S. battery equipment makers for the mixing step.
