About
Putailai (Shanghai Putailai New Energy Technology, PTL) is a Chinese supplier of lithium-ion battery materials and production equipment.
It was founded in 2012 and has been listed in Shanghai since 2017. Its businesses are anode materials and graphitization, separator film and coating, functional materials such as binders and ceramic powders, contract electrode coating on its own lines, and battery automation equipment. Subsidiaries include Jiangxi Zichen and Sichuan Zichen (anode), Zhejiang Keaton and Jiangsu KATOP. It has a strategic agreement with CATL on composite copper foil current collectors.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Putailai among large-cap graphite producers and top silicon anode players, and notes its planned ~¥25 billion separator capacity expansion.
