About
Shangtai Technology (Shijiazhuang Shangtai Technology) is a Chinese maker of artificial graphite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
It was founded in September 2008 and listed in Shenzhen in December 2022. It designs its own key equipment and runs every production step in-house, including graphitization. Its anode products are grouped for high energy density in consumer electronics, fast charging in EVs and long cycle life in energy storage, and it also lists silicon-based anode material. It has production in Shijiazhuang, is building two 200,000-tonne anode projects in Shanxi, and has a 50,000-tonne project in Kedah, Malaysia.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Shangtai among large-cap anode producers and among graphite anode producers in Asia-Pacific.
