About
B&M Tech (Tianjin B&M Science and Technology) is a Chinese maker of cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, founded in August 2002.
It has about 2,000 employees and production bases in the Tianjin high-tech industrial park and in Chengdu, where its subsidiary Chengdu B&M runs a 100,000-tonne-a-year plant built in three phases. In total it reports capacity for 106,000 tonnes of cathode material a year. Its product notes describe lithium cobalt oxide with doped, stabilised structures and coatings for longer cycle life.
The 2025 Battery Report lists B&M Tech among large-cap cathode producers.
