Fabric8Labs
About
Fabric8Labs makes metal parts with Electrochemical Additive Manufacturing (ECAM), a room-temperature 3D printing process it developed.
ECAM builds dense, high-purity copper parts with micron-scale features and complex internal channels, without post-processing, and can print directly onto sensitive substrates such as circuit boards and silicon. A patented microelectrode array printhead is meant to let it scale to mass production. Its main markets are thermal management, including cold plates for data center liquid cooling and AI chips, wireless communications such as aerospace RF antennas, and power electronics.
The 2025 Battery Report shows Fabric8Labs in the 'power & cooling infrastructure' layer of the AI energy stack on its data center page.
