Using nanomaterials and its own electrode architectures, it builds all-ceramic lithium-ion electrodes that give high power density, fast recharge and high peak currents in a small package. Its products serve as energy buffers in IoT devices using LAN and LPWAN radios, and in wearables, healthcare devices and power backup, including energy-harvesting asset trackers. ITEN handles the whole production process in-house, from nanomaterial synthesis onward, and says its technology is ready for large-scale deployment after more than a decade of research.

The 2025 Battery Report lists ITEN among solid-state battery players in EMEA, in its oxide electrolyte group.
