Kyoto Seisakusho
About
Kyoto Seisakusho is a Kyoto-based maker of production machinery, from packaging machines to assembly equipment for electronic parts such as batteries.
Founded in 1948, it builds machines one at a time to each customer's specification. Its packaging range includes cartoners, case packers, film wrappers, palletizers and print inspection systems, and it also plans complete production lines for factories. Its IT-related business started with machines that assemble CD and DVD cases and grew into assembly equipment for LCDs, capacitors and batteries. It has sales offices in Tokyo, Toyama, Sapporo and Sendai and a packaging subsidiary in Illinois.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Kyoto Seisakusho among Japanese cell manufacturing equipment makers, for stacking and packaging.
