Hirano Tecseed

Its battery electrode coating line is used for lithium-ion battery electrodes, fuel-cell electrodes, capacitors and separators, and its other lines coat optical function films, flexible circuit boards, dry film, electronic materials, adhesives and release films, alongside non-woven dryers and ceramic sheet forming lines for MLCCs. Founded in 1935, it is headquartered with a plant in Kawai, Nara, has a factory in Kizugawa, Kyoto, and offices in Osaka and Tokyo, with consolidated sales of 48.3 billion yen in the year to March 2025.

The 2025 Battery Report lists Hirano Tecseed among Japanese battery equipment makers for the coating step.
