Lishen
About
Lishen (Tianjin Lishen Battery) is a state-controlled Chinese maker of lithium-ion batteries, founded in December 1997.
It says it was China's first lithium-ion battery R&D and manufacturing company. Its products cover consumer batteries (prismatic, cylindrical and polymer cells), batteries for vehicles, special equipment and other transport, and energy storage systems built on its own cells. It reports annual capacity of 31 GWh and describes itself as part of China's central state-owned new energy sector.
The 2025 Battery Report lists Lishen among large-cap cell makers and among high-performance cell suppliers for space, aviation, defense, motorsports, robotics and drones.
