NIO

It has three brands: NIO, the family-focused ONVO, and firefly for small cars. Its NIO range includes the ET5, ET7, ET9, EC6, EC7, ES6, ES7, ES8 and ES9. It runs a battery service in which batteries can be charged, swapped automatically in a few minutes or upgraded, and offers fast charging. It has R&D and manufacturing in more than 10 locations, including Shanghai, Hefei, San Jose, Munich, Oxford and Budapest, and sells in 24 countries and regions.

The 2025 Battery Report lists NIO among large-cap vehicle makers and includes a November 2025 item on its 150 kWh battery pack with semi-solid electrolyte in its solid-state timeline.
