We are designing a 1MWh, sodium ion, hybrid flow battery, with a patent pending, membrane free design. This allows us to achieve Levelized Cost of Storage as low as $0.03-$0.04/kWh and allows us to target not just peak-hour energy storage, but actual grid-scale baseload storage for renewable energy ventures allowing solar and wind to be cost competitive against traditional fossil fuel power generation when including energy storage. We just finished a collaboration with Lawrence Technological University where they completed independent validation of our proof-of-concept and we are looking for seed funding to complete our MVP.
